RitulOS ("we", "us") operates the RitulOS iOS application. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. Contact us at hello@ritulos.com.
We collect health information. Because of that we treat ourselves as bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, and we handle health information as sensitive information.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers or device fingerprints.
Solely to operate the app: to compose your day, to generate your advisors' responses, and to keep your record across devices. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling for third parties, or any secondary purpose.
Health and calendar access are requested separately and are optional. The app works without either. You can withdraw consent at any time in iOS Settings, and we stop receiving that information immediately.
To generate advice we disclose the relevant parts of your information to service providers, some of which are located overseas. By using RitulOS you consent to this disclosure.
We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers handle your information consistently with this policy. We do not sell your personal information and never will.
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we erase your advisors, commitments, history, reflections and chats from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain something by law. Prompts sent to our AI providers are subject to their own retention periods.
Information is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest by our hosting providers. Access is restricted to those who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can view and edit most of your information inside the app. You can delete everything from Settings. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of anything else, email hello@ritulos.com. We will respond within 30 days. If we refuse, we will tell you why in writing.
If you think we have mishandled your information, email hello@ritulos.com with the details. We will acknowledge within 5 business days and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
RitulOS is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
None. No analytics, no advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers, and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app before it takes effect.
This policy is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
